I realize the phone cases are made-to-order so the photos don't necessarily show the exact item the customer is getting. But if I was going to order one, I would want to see be able to see the photos more clearly. The way you have it now I can't see the sample photographs through the text. Maybe the font needs to be a little smaller. Or maybe you could add more photos of sample cases to fill up the remaining photo slots. Ditto on Samson's comment. When I looked at this listing, I didn't realize that the photo had four different cases! Could you do five different photos of example cases instead? (I don't even have a cell phone, so you can take my comments with a grain of salt.) For the title, what about something like "Custom Phone Cases, Resin Decoden in Your Design Choice" (I also had to look up "decoden" and "kawaii" – shows you how old-fashioned I am!). It's a pretty niche thing, so don't worry about not knowing I fill the rest of those picture slots with cases I have made. Thank you both for the idea.

Seems the other two replies I posted yesterday have disappeared on me again. Oh well, I'm too sleep-deprived this morning to remember what they were. I do remember I posted my three links! Also, I posed a question for Katie, the Goddess of All SEO Wisdom, because I think I'm still a little confused! I have read that your keywords need to be repeated in your titles, in the first line of your description, and in your tags. So I've been working to repeat ALL (or nearly all) my keywords in all THREE places. This has resulted in my titles being overly long. I have at least started trying to get the most important words up front in the titles since I know only the first few are visible in search results. However, you can hover on the thumbnail titles and see the rest if one is so inclined. So I've left a lot of my long long titles intact. I personally use this feature to determine whether I want to take the time to click through or not. On the other hand, I don't want to be "stuffing" my titles with words that google or other search engines might read as fluff and damage my SEO. Here are three listings, mostly chosen at random, since most all my listings could use some work: www.etsy.com/listing/206628970www.etsy.com/listing/209296869www.etsy.com/listing/166457972

But you can always remove one or two keywords from your title, and just add them to your description in the first few lines (for meta descriptions, see first post again) if you think your titles are too long.

I've printed off the first page of this to look at, so I can choose some specific things to work on. We've some new things we're hoping to take photos of, so I may also just try to build those properly from the beginning.
Additionally, I apologize for being so scarce of late. The thing with the dogs really threw me, and the forefinger on my left hand has been near useless since the fight. (And it isn't like Mister Tea and I had been doing all that well with the things life was dropping on us before that.)
Anyway, today or tomorrow I will settle down to write something up for week three.

Karen, I agree. Don't see how you could improve those titles.

The first one seems ok to me, even using both rosemary and herbs, because either might be used in searches. But the other two both seem rather repetitive. Yes they are unfortunately keyword stuffing is still a good way to get your item listed toward the top of a search page

I'm re-doing the description for one of the listing for which I just changed the title. How did I do? www.etsy.com/listing/53998511Current wording: This bracelet features beautiful lampwork beads in sage and celery green with milky blue and pale peach spots surrounded by glossy black. I alternated the green beads with black beads (mix of onyx, glass, and blackstone) and sterling silver accents. A sterling silver toggle style clasp, complete with beaded dangle, makes this bracelet easy to fasten and fun to wear. The bracelet measures about 6.75 inches diameter. For more original beaded and charm bracelets from Paisley Lizard Designs, see this section of my shop www.etsy.com/shop/PaisleyLizardDesigns?section_id=5828777.Edited to: This beaded bracelet features beautiful artisan-made lampwork beads in swirling sage and celery green with light blue and peach spots with black highlights. I alternated the green lampwork beads with a mix of black onyx, black glass, and blackstone beads. Each lampwork bead in the bracelet is accented with sterling silver beads on either side. The nature-inspired design of this bracelet reminds me of green caterpillars. The unique hand-crafted lampwork beads make this bracelet a one-of-a-kind design.
The lampwork and mixed-gemstone beaded bracelet measures about 6.75 inches (17.15 cm) diameter and fastens easily and securely with a sterling silver toggle clasp. The clasp is accented with a lampwork beaded dangle on sterling silver wire. For more original beaded and charm bracelets from Paisley Lizard Designs, see this section of my shop www.etsy.com/shop/PaisleyLizardDesigns?section_id=5828777.TAGSbeaded bracelet, lampwork bracelet, green black bracelet, glass bead bracelet, toggle bracelet, sterling silver, sage green bracelet, green bead bracelet, nature jewelry, artisan jewelry, Paisley Lizard, thehandmadeforum, SRAJD

Thanks, Katie, that helps. I am trying to include useful, pertinent information and not just stuff them with repetitive variations of the same thing. They just seem really long compared to a lot of others. Also, what about phrases like stocking stuffer idea or Easter basket idea? People do sometimes search for those terms, but your post at the beginning makes it sound like those are not a good idea because they're suggesting a use for the item. Would it be better not to put those terms in the title? Can I use them in tags? Or just suggest it in the description somewhere?

Did a little work on #2. Changed the title to Skin healing salve all natural Calendula healing ointment 1.50oz I took some new pictures but they did not come out well at all. I did manage to get two that were better than the horrible ones I had before....but more picture taking is in store. I changed up my Tags and revamped the Description. I won't bore you with all the detail :0
