You all crack me up! I didn't sign up this year cuz my life has been so crazy I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get mine done in time, but I've had great fun reading all the banter here. I can't wait to see what everyone gets. You will post pictures, won't you? Of course we will and it's nice to know I'm not the only one up at 4:00 AM EST. Coffee just got made and I'm sipping on a cup. Some of the new Chocolate Sugar Lip Scrub pictures came out pretty good so I'll be updating some of those pictures today Hope you and the new grand baby are well and having a good time. I actually bought a stocking pattern last week and will try and make some stocking for the gang this year *half-smiles ruefully* I was awake, but not up. Ended up deciding to rest more because body was not cooperating with the actually standing part.

This Secret Santa wonders how people feel about chocolate. Milk or Dark? Or white (which isn't technically chocolate, but we'll include it for completeness)? Nuts or not? Caramel, fruit, mint, spices, or booze in the chocolate? I love all chocolate!!!!!!

Dark, milk, white, as long as it's chocolate I don't care what color it is Nuts are always welcomed, especially walnuts and pecans Carmel, fruit, mint, spices and lots of booze in the chocolate is always a plus My mom used to make bourbon balls and we always got a buzz off of them even though she tried to limit us to 4 or 5 at a time after dinner for dessert OMG bourbon balls yum My friend make the best, she brought them into work one xmas that made for a fun afternoon

Now the steroids+antibiotics are making me so nauseous I can't sleep OR eat! At least I'm bound to louse a pound or two before this is all over...

I hope you get to feeling better soon and try some hot tea with honey and lemon in it and hang out over the steam rising off it and do some deep breathing. It helps get the honey into your lungs.

On a side note...super bummed that shipping liquor is so difficult/impossible. I really want an excuse to make some kahlua. Do you have the Vanilla beans? I don't...yet, but I do have some really nice glass containers to hold it in. Might just have to make it for locals. Guess I'd better figure it out soon or my containers will go another year without being used. I bought them to make ginger beer last year and then read horror stories of exploding containers and chickened out.

So... I found some nice looking body lotions, scrubs, etc ... wondering if my secret recipient (so all of you) are into these things. I know there are a few people with sensitive skin, etc I love citrus, mint, and lavender scents. Not allergic, but something in a lot of scented products makes me sneeze uncontrollably and a lot of different scents in the air gives me a migrane right quick. It's sad really. No soap shops for me.

One of the things I had Mister Tea do whilst he was ill was carry a cloth with a drop of peppermint essential oil on it in his pocket. It helped with both the airways and the nausea, and cooled aggravated blown-too-much-nose. Could do a small sachet of dried, as well, though wouldn't be as effective. Also, I have decided the Deb's healing-of-skin-and-0itching salve is a must for winter. Or sick. Or allergic skin reactions. Or....

So with you, there. On the intensely rare occasion we brave a mall or the like, I have to start taking deep breaths a few shops before any of the scent stores, so that I can take a really deep breath before I am breathing it, and then let it out slowly to increase the length of time before I have to inhale again, while rocketing past as swift as I can. It is amazing how well I can dodge people in the chair when going swiftly, even if I edge into oxygen dep. Not one single living being has yet been harmed in the process of my continued addiction to breathing.
