On an ACTUAL mostly total sidenote, since I have a habit of weird random care packages when the mood takes me. If anyone would be willing to fill this out, it would be spiffy. www.surveymonkey.com/r/K9CH7PLNot entirely sidenote, though any drink things I included would probably just be explained as something other than the Secret Santa gift. Just filled it in

I filled it out. I feel like you have a drawer in your house with strange tidbits of information about total strangers in it *chuckles* I have a pile of binder clipped postits, a notebook, and slowly trying to organize things a bit better into a three ring binder.... and yes, part of a drawer.

Since it is winter, and I know warm things are going to come up in a lot of the secret santa things, this seemed a useful question. (I will answer it myself once I dig up my proper measuring tape.)
General hand measurement - around the knuckles, and perhaps length of the palm - as well as possibly around the wrist.
Also, perhaps hat/head size.

Anyone who has me, you will be filling in a customs form, can I politely ask you not to put the value above $20, because I will get charged customs tax and postage handling fees. .

(Can't remember, frankly.) For friends overseas when sending things I always check for the cap number... for customers there isn't much I can do.

It's true, even if it's marked as a gift I would still be charged if the value is over €22. *sigh*

Gloves and mittens I think I'm right between ladies' med-large: 8" around knuckles; 7" fingertips to bottom of palm, 7" wrist hats: medium (22")

That sucks, I know cos I send gifts to my Mum in England and have to put a low value on the package so that it does not cost her, kind of defeats the purpose of a gift if the recipient has to pay
