With luck, Mister Tea and I will manage to actually finish the project that is one of the things holding off the package. Also, with luck, I will be able to finish off the other thing.

How's everyone coming along?? One thing to finish for sure, and an argument in the back of my head going re: a couple of extra ideas that I probably should ignore because time. *chuckles* Likely in the mail tomorrow.

I handed mine over to the USPS this morning. Crossing fingers, since I have bad luck with them.

I handed mine over to the USPS this morning. Crossing fingers, since I have bad luck with them. Crossing fingers for you, too. We've had luck lately, but I've heard some pretty atrocious stories lately. I don't know if my problem is with the local POs or if it's a nation wide issue. It's beyond frustrating how often mail I send or am expecting goes astray. Just yesterday I had a recurrence of the "we're too lazy to deliver your package so we're going to lie on the tracking information" event. I was expecting an Amazon Prime package. It was allegedly "out for delivery" at 10:35 am. I was home all day and no one rang the bell. And yet, the tracking shows that at 4:14 pm a delivery was "attempted, package undeliverable because receptacle blocked, notice left. " There was no notice left and the mailbox - which is located inside the building right by the entrance - was not blocked. I guess "receptacle blocked" is code for "didn't feel like getting my lazy butt out of the car and walking up 10 steps to deliver this 2-lb box." Happens at least twice a month. Sometimes the excuse is "undeliverable as addressed" even though the package, once it arrives days later, is clearly addressed correctly. Okay, that was my rant for the day.

Sometimes the excuse is "undeliverable as addressed" even though the package, once it arrives days later, is clearly addressed correctly. Okay, that was my rant for the day. I hate UPS and WILL NOT use them again, nor, when I have a choice, use them as a delivery agent when ordering from another vendor. Case in point, toner cartridges had to be signed for, Staples only uses UPS. So I'm home, black toner cartridge is telling me its LOW, it's Tuesday and my order should be delivered today by 2:00 PM UPS says. About 3:30 the dogs are outside and bark once or twice, they are playing I think. I've been in the office all day, literally 10' from my front porch. I think, oh, I've got to run these orders to the Post Office and will check for my toner cartridges when I get back, and when I look out through the kitchen back door into the garage I see a note stuck on the glass pane on the garage door. Says we tried to deliver but no one was home. I got pissed. I can hear when someone walks on the wooden porch and it never happened. So I called UPS and they apologized and said they would try to delivery again on Wednesday. Wait one friggin minute I tell them, I need the toners this evening as my printer is about to stop printing for lack of black toner. Let me talk to a supervisor, transferred to the Statesville office and talked to a local supervisor who said "So sorry but the delivery guy is a holiday temp" and we'll have him deliver it this evening before he comes back to the office. Nice I think, then the supervisor also lets me know that she is putting a "only deliver to front door NOT garage". Love it, but it happens every time I have to sign for a package and I'm tired of this crap.
