Hey all!
We are going to be doing a shop spring cleanse in march, this will be the same as the last shop cleanse challenge, but not as hard! As most of us already have done pretty well from the previous one, this is mostly for those who are recently new and for those who need an extra kick up the butt! And as always it would be great to have some volunteers who would like to help with tasks and lessons for each section. (You can re-use previous resources)
We will focus on this for the shop cleanse,
Your shop look: is your branding cohesive, what is your banner like?
Your About Page: Does it tell an interesting story?
SEO: Titles, Tags and Descriptions: Lets start getting more views/sales.
Pictures: Are they your best?
If you would like to help run this challenge, please let me know and what area you're willing to help. Thanks.
As usual, I will be doing the SEO bit (lol)
Once numbers and volunteers are organised, start date of challenge will be announced. (March)

I'd be interested in participating.
Not sure what I could help with (since I'm also willing to do that.)
However, I'm pretty good with words - so about page and/or finding a narrative style/voice for your shop might be a thing I could help with.

My shop is in need of a serious cleanse so I'm definitely in for the challenge. Not sure where I can help, but I'll try!

Count me in. I am really wanting to update my look, so I'd be interested in doing some research along those lines and sharing what I learn here. As long as people know I don't claim expertise in any of this. Now if you wanna learn about sewing, I'm your girl. Anything else, I'm learning right along with everyone else.

Ditto on the learning, especially from a "Brand cohesive look" (what the heck is that anyway), and shop banner work, and of course picking Ms KatieJoys brain for tons of current SEO do's and don't. I've got a big cardboard box ready to fill up with all the "old shop stuff" and am looking forward to a great spring with increased views and sales

I'm in! I joined the forum just as the first cleanse was ending, I think. Plus, I have a second shop now, but it's mostly populated with old inventory which I'm sure could use a cleanse.
If you're looking for someone to give feedback on things like banner, photos, cohesive branding, etc., I'm no expert, but I do have strong opinions. LOL.

My shop definitely needs a couple of strong opinions. That's what was so great about the last shop cleanse. You get so "used" to your shop it's hard to see it from a different point of view, and so very hard to make it appealing to a 30 - 65 years old span. And now, most of my views are from mobile users, so while my target market remains that 35 - 60 year old bracket, I also have to appeal to the 20 -30 somethings that are driving the mobile market. I'm looking forward to finding out about the recent SEO do's and don't, and a total do over of my shop banner, but still want to include any monthly specials on it for that small segment that actually does view my shop page
