Hi guys, I used to have a blog many moons ago but I no longer have one. I found it extremely hard to keep it going. However I have written the occasional article if a subject intrests me. This is one about how artists are applying Rapid Prototyping Technology in their practice. I hope you enjoy it. Attachments:3D Printing.pdf (862.91 KB)

There was a lady with at the Etsy event who used 3D printing with her jewellery. She also did metal casting too. Her 3D printed jewellery, was visually stunning, however they felt really fragile. I suppose it would depend on the material deposit she is using to print with?

do you have your own 3d printer? No. I wish I was that fortunate. I get my metal prints done by Shapeways. My school has one and as the technician I get to spend a lot of time using it. This also meens I get to test ideas out on it some times.
