Hi everyone! I joined a long time ago, but then wasn't very active. Life got incredibly busy (I work full time at a private college in St. Paul, MN) and it was hard to keep up with multiple on -line shops. Etsy has always been the best venue for me. I'm starting to get ready for the holiday season and local craft shows. I'll be closing my Artfire shop. I'm thinking about Zibbet's lifetime membership offer. Does anyone have any opinions on Zibbet as a selling venue? My Etsy shop is: www.etsy.com/shop/brendascraftstore

Welcome back! I have a zibbet shop, so know how it feels. Two or more shops is hard work! I will admit my zibbet shop is covered in dust though, etsy has the biggest footfall so works best for me. We are going through a massive re-vamp as I am sure you're aware, and really looking forward to getting to know you more and supporting you and your business!

I think for me, it's good to have a zibbet shop, just to secure your shop name. But all my effort is in etsy. Etsy has a lot of footfall compared to zibbet. Plus zibbets platform is pretty poor. Once they have more money invested in them then I think it's worth spending more time on it.

Welcome, Brenda! I do have a shop on Zibbet, but have sold nothing at all. I agree with KatieJoy, they just don't have the traffic yet to even begin to compete with Etsy. Since the rebuild over there it's been crickets and dust bunnies. And I certainly don't have enough internet presence to drive my own traffic. But I'm keeping my shop over there for now, especially since it's paid through Dec. 31. Maybe I'll get a sale or two during the holidays? I'm hoping things pick up over there, but it may be slow... For now Etsy is also where most of my effort goes because it's where it pays off for me. Best of luck to you.
