Hello, I recently joined the team. I tend to be more of a lurker than poster, but I'll chime in when I can :-) My shop on Etsy is www.etsy.com/shop/silentmagician and it features my small format artwork. I am an American who lives in the Netherlands (isn't it great you can find people from all different places on Etsy?) I love travel, history, art, and handmade craftmanship. I look forward to learning more about you guys and your creations! Also, the avatar maker is way too fun. If I had a white and black suit I'd totally wear it. Hmm...something to check for on Etsy? :-)

I like the whole idea of a series, each set in different time period (I also have a big thing for history and old movies). Best of luck Maisie

Hello Shannon, nice to meet you. I just checked out your shop, very cool. And did you notice they now put up to 60 items on one page? When did they start doing that? Oh, but I digress. I love doing ATCs and trading for them. If you ever want to do a trade let me know. You can find my 2D art on my website, but not in my etsy shop. I started a swap at my local community gallery, but so far it is not much of a hit. This week I am going to make some flyers and cards to pass out at any art related functions I might go to, and try to educate and get people interested in doing live ATC swaps. I do them with my family and those are great, but I would really like to get one going where I can meet local artist and learn about their work. Welcome to the group! Jessica Jessica, I like your ATC swap idea! That's a great way to collect art. I've just listed a range of ACEO's in my shop (I draw patterns mostly and use drawing inks). I've noticed the long pages yesterday, but I rather like it. I like being able to see more of a shop on one page, rather than having to click and click. Maisie

It's great to meet some other people who do ACEOs! I've never been to an ATC swap, but I haven't met many people in person who make them.
Jessica, your tree pendants are lovely.
Maisie, your shop is so colorful and cheery! Is there a special paint for silk?

Maisie, your shop is so colorful and cheery! Is there a special paint for silk? Thanks! Yes I use a special paint. It's very thin, a little like drawing inks, so it spreads easily across the silk and if not thin the silk would become very heavy. I like it because I can achieve a bright (but not overly) block of pure colour, which is great for my patterns. Maisie
