Hi everyone!
I run a little shop called Insomniac Treasures by Lisa Prus Designs. Currently the shop has wired and beaded jewelry and also new and recycled leather items (jewelry from belts, purses, etc). I love working with natural stones - more rough and rustic, but also work with glass beads, pearls, whatever catches my eye. Mostly I make one-of items to try out a style or technique...sometimes it ends up being repeated. It is REALLY fun to create custom items with a particular person in mind.
My style has evolved considerably since beginning to sell jewelry ~18 months ago. Branding and trying to figure out what to do with "old" stock or stuff that just does not quite go together is a current dilemma...as is getting seen. SEO is VERY confusing!
I vend at handmade markets here and there and am in one shop (but would like to be in more - just need to make the time to get out there). Occasionally, I refinish and furniture and make windchimes from found objects. I am also a wife and mom, a girl scout leader, hold a full time job as an analyst, and volunteer time at school for PTA and art projects.
Looking forward to meeting people here and sharing with each other to build camaraderie and success.

I have 1 item (out of 150 in my shop) that has ~3000 views. The next closest has ~200. Gah!
It's really tiring trying to figure out the online game with all of my other activities. I tried for a while, but have been letting it ride of late. When I get some free time, I'll read through the SEO stuff, yet again, and see if the lightbulb goes on.
Tempted to go back to furniture, but there's and unfortunate storage and mess hassle associated with that.
